Accelerating the Prevention and Control of HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD and Tuberculosis in the Federated States of Micronesia is a priority as these four focused disease areas are still major health issues in the country. Although HIV cases are low, STD rates for Chlamydia remains high at 23% during 2018 and decreased to 16% during COVID-19 Pandemic. The Program Collaboration and Service Integration project with its 4 strategies had improved the effectiveness of program implementation and service delivery. The collaboration of programs will continue to lead the improvement in patient care and management for multiple diseases. This program collaboration and service integration is appropriate and effective for areas with geographic and limited human resource challenges; additionally, cross training of staff will also lead to increased knowledge in multiple diseases. This project will support and streamline integrated interventions leading to decreasing rates of diseases through improved patient treatment outcomes, contact tracing and partner services. Data Management and Disease Surveillance will improve the decision making from higher management and guide the programs in the use of funding sources.
