Puerto Rico Department of Health (PRDH) is Puerto Rico Agency with the faculty by Law to protect public health. To that effect, PRDH has, under the division of Epidemiology and Research, multiple specific diseases surveillance systems. These surveillance systems work closely with PRDH Public Health Laboratory to control, prevent and mitigate infectious diseases in PR population. To that effect, through the years ELC funding has been a crucial and essential cooperative agreement to PRDH to enhancing PRDH laboratory and epidemiology capacity. To ELC Cooperative Agreement CK24-0002 for FY 2024-2029 PRDH is submitting all requieres documentation for 16 projects and programs.
