The United States Government through CDC has been providing direct financial support through Cooperative Agreements (CoAg) to WPHO. The financial support is aimed at building capacity of WPHO to provide comprehensive and sustainable HIV/AIDS prevention, care, support, and treatment services. In COP21, the PEPFAR will funding support the following program areas: PMTCT, Condom and Other Prevention, DREAMS, VMMC, HTS, TB/HIV, Strategic Information, HIV Care, Support and Treatment for both Adult and Pediatric, and Health Systems Strengthening. The support will also extend to manage the COVID19 pandemic and ensure PEPFAR supported staff, PLHIV are protected against COVID19 through clinical and community management of cases, roll out of vaccinations and availability of PPEs
