The title of this project is "Incident Command System for the Copper Basin." The Copper River Native Association requests $663,040.81 to fund the following strategies to prevent, prepare for, and respond to Coronavirus 2019 in the Copper Basin:a) Emergency Operations and Coordinationb) Communicationsc) Countermeasures and Mitigation. CRNA will establish an ICS to empower the organization to not only respond to emergencies with maximum effectiveness, but allow it to coordinate with federal and state agencies, tribes, businesses and other organizations. An ICS will ensure CRNA is prepared to meet challenges caused by a COVID-19 outbreak with a proportional response. As part of the ICS structure, CRNA will also create an inventory and supply system to ensure an adequate supply of PPE, testing, and cleaning supplies. CRNA will develop communications strategies using web, video, and social media channels to deliver important, relevant, and timely COVID-19 information to its tribal members.
