Clermont Co. Drug Free CoalitionContinuation of the environmental prevention strategies and evidenced based prevention that has been done in Year 1-5 of the Drug Free Community funding. - The Coalition is applying for year 6-10 of Drug Free Communities Funding to continue the work of the Coalition to deliver evidenced based prevention and environmental level prevention strategies to have an impact on Community level change and build capacity to continue the work after the grant funding is over. We will build a robust Youth Led Prevention component that helps build capacity and sustainability for the community to deliver Primary prevention to our youth 18 and under and to impact the community by working on policies, practices to change the norms around alcohol, marijuana and nicotine thereby increasing the age of first use and decreasing the early initiation of substance use and over time decrease use for adults in the future.
