Healthy Delaware County promotes health related to substance use, brain health, co-occurring issues focusing on healthy choices, resources & collaborative efforts to improve quality of life - The Delaware County Drug Abuse Coalition (DDAC) identifies and addresses issues related to substance use and abuse in the county; with a focus on youth related strategies. Delaware County is a rural county with 11 small towns and 3 school districts. The coalition has all 12 key sectors represented; additionally the board of health, treatment and juvenile court services. Our target population is the 12-20 age group with a focus on educating youth, parents, grandparents and community members. The focus of this project is to reduce use and increase perception of harm of alcohol, marijuana and methamphetamine use.
