Biolocity™ (Atlanta, GA) seeks to capitalize on previous experience in successful acceleration of health technologies to amplify the impact of BARDA and DRIVe in our region and accelerate health security innovations that protect Americans from 21st-century health security threats. The objectives are to: (1) leverage Biolocity communications and events to expand stakeholder awareness of BARDA DRIVe; (2) identify promising products and technologies of strategic interest to BARDA; (3) deploy Biolocity resources and ecosystem to accelerate health security innovation; (4) enhance the BARDA DRIVe community through integration of the Biolocity network with the DRIVe Accelerator Network; (5) share best practices for the identification and acceleration of health security innovation. The expected outcomes of this project are: (1) enhanced stakeholder awareness of BARDA, DRIVe, and the DRIVe Accelerator Network; (2) increased mutual visibility and connectivity between BARDA and technologies of strategic interest; (3) improved and accelerated commercial readiness of BARDA-funded technologies; (4) enrichment of the BARDA DRIVe Accelerator Network. Products from this project are: (1) monthly activity reports including innovation opportunities and portfolio status; (2) annual product transition strategy reports; (3) qualitative and quantitative data on Biolocity’s DRIVe outreach activities.
