University Enterprise Laboratories (UEL) in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is an incubator for early-stage companies in critical areas of life sciences, medical health, and biotech. gener8tor is an accelerator that works with startups to connect them with investors and corporate partners. UEL and gener8tor have partnered on the BARDA DRIVe accelerator expansion in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul region of Minnesota, and will continue to collaborate for the term of the grant.. As partners in the Accelerator Network, UEL and gener8tor will offer support in the following areas: 1) Identification and evaluation of promising products and technologies in medtech, biotech, and health security; 2) Company creation and support services; 3) Scientific and technical expertise for technology development, clinical testing, and diagnostics; 4) Connections to industry, university, government, investor, and key stakeholder networks; 5) wet and dry labs, analytical equipment, and business support services; and 6) promotion of BARDA and DRIVe initiatives to our networks to support health security, medical countermeasures, and disruptive innovation.
