New Hampshire will use the grant funds from the State Planning and Establishment Grants for the Affordable Care Act???s (???ACA???) Exchanges to conduct a thorough evaluation of whether and how to establish and effectively operate a sustainable Exchange in New Hampshire that will accomplish the goals of the ACA. Governor Lynch has constituted a working group of state officials for this purpose, led by the Commissioners of the Insurance Department and the Department of Health and Human Services. This working group has already met together a number of times, and the members of the working group have also participated individually in a number of conferences of officials from other states and experts focused on the planning and development of Exchanges. The Project Narrative sets forth a summary of the tasks that this working group has identified as key to planning for an Exchange in New Hampshire.
