In 2023, the center served a total of 32,983 patients. Approximately, 66% of our patients are at or below 100% federal poverty level, with an uninsured patient population of 13%. New Mexico is an expanded Medicaid state. La Clinica de Familia Inc. would like to request $1,100,000 in funds to expand our current mental health and substance use disorder services. The new line of service will be substance use services, medication opioid disorder services, and recovery services, to augment our current mental health services. The proposed program team to be funded with the HRSA Behavioral Health expansion dollars are as follows: Psychiatric Nurse, Licensed Therapist, Case Manager, Peer Recovery Specialist, and Licensed Practical Nurse. Using these funds, our aim is to initiate substance use disorder and medication disorder services in a recovery-oriented, stigma-free, holistic and integrated manner targeting our patients and the residents of Dona Ana County.
