2024 Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Opioid Response 4 - The Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Opioid Response Project is designed to decrease unmet treatment needs and opioid overdose related fatalities for LCO Tribal Members living on or near the reservation boundaries. By increasing community outreach through a Recovery Navigator, developing a cascade of care model throughout Tribal programs, implementation of centered contingency management in the LCO Recovery Clinic that provides MOUD, and utilization of Tribal Elders/Cultural Advisors to support all aspects of prevention, treatment, and recovery we intend to reach 625 unduplicated individuals throughout various stages of recovery needs. Continuous data collection and evaluation for program adjustments along with ensuring fidelity to the evidence-based practices of cascade of care and contingency management models will be utilized to ensure our program is effective and meeting the needs of our tribal members.
