Project Name: Rocky Boy Tribal Opioid Response Grant (TOR) Population to be served: American Indian (AI) persons with an opioid use disorder (OUD) seeking access to treatment and recovery support. The geographic catchment area for the Rocky Boy TOR is the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation (RBIR), home of the Chippewa Cree Tribe (CCT). Strategies/Interventions: We will update our existing strategic plan. Implementation of a NARCAN delivery training program. Implementation of evidence-based service delivery models that encompass the full spectrum of treatment and recovery support services. Implementation of recovery support services. Goals and Objectives: The goal of the Rocky Boy TOR is “Continue to increase access to culturally appropriate and evidence-based prevention, treatment, and community-based recovery support services addressing the opioid crisis on the RBIR.” To achieve this goal, we have developed the following measurable objectives: Objective 1: By the beginning of month two, White Sky Hope Center will develop, establish, and implement an overdose education and NARCAN training program and provide training on its use to first responders, other providers, and social service systems. Objective 2: During the two-year project period, the Rocky Boy TOR will increase access to evidence-based opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery services to at least 40 (20 in year one and 20 in year two) individuals. Number of people to be served: We anticipate serving at least 40 unduplicated individuals over the two-year project period.
