Chicago Area Project's Healthy Living Our 1 Goal HIV/AIDS, and substance abuse prevention program will support the Southside Chicago Communities with it's community base social services, prevention, substance abuse, church, and social service partners in providing comprehensive and substance abuse and HIV/AIDS prevention, early assessment, testing and referral to services for youth and young adults ages 13-24 years of age. It will increased emphasis will be placed on reaching populations at risk for contracting HIV/AIDS, sexually active, substance using young people. Strategies and intervention include a communication campaign to increase awareness and knowledge, prevention education programming, "HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis testing and treatment referral services.
