The proposed project is to implement an integrated, digital navigation, text messaging intervention for those at highest risk of substance use disorders and HIV transmission in a public health system. The project, called Health eNavigation or Health eNav, provides tailored, personalized, digital navigation to project participants with the goal of effective linkage, engagement and retenton in substance use disorder treatment and HIV prevention services. Health eNav provides participants with six months of digital navigation which includes the following components: 1) HIV care navigation, 2) health promotion, 3) motivational interviewing, and 4) digital social support. Digital navigation uses social media and digital technologies to extend supportive care structures beyond clinic walls at times when those most vulnerable to substance use disorder and HIV transmission need support most.
