Our Klickitat coalition was founded in September of 2016 and is applying for a FY 2017 Drug-Free Communities Support Program grant in the amount of $125,000. The Coalition serves Klickitat County, Washington, a community of 20,860. The goals of the coalition are to establish and strengthen community collaboration in support of local efforts to prevent youth substance use. The coalition will achieve its goals by implementing strategies to increase youth perception of harm of using substances, to decrease access of youth to the substances, and to ultimately decrease youth use rates.
