CT3 will serve 100 children and adolescents annually and 500 over five years. Services will include screening and assessment, trauma treatment, therapy, care management, outreach, professional training, community education, and linkages to supports. Treatment models will include the Trauma Assessment Pathway, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, MATCH-ADTC, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and DIMENSIONS Tobacco Free Program, with Youth Mental Health First Aid and Nurturing Parenting provided as training and education. The project will increase community capacity for trauma-informed practices; decrease behavioral health concerns and improve social/emotional functioning for children ages 0–9; and reduce trauma-related risk factors and symptoms while improving psychosocial well-being, quality of life, and protective factors for ages 10–17. CT3 also aims to improve family functioning, increase access to trauma-focused treatment, achieve 80% participant retention, and reduce 30-day criminal/juvenile justice involvement among clients involved in those systems.
