The COVID Crisis has dramatically changed our small village society. We used to conduct wellness events and community gatherings a lot more than before COVID. We need to make a comeback; we need to re-unite our community again. We are a small enough community to retain our culture and traditions. We request to hire two employees and conduct Community & Youth Advocacy Group meetings to start up collaboration meetings again. We also would like to hire a contractor to assist us with evaluating our progress and program. The evaluator will need to meet with the two staff employees at least twice a year at Alaska's largest city. We will need computers and office supplies. We will provide in-kind/local match with the principal investigator and use local match for our CYAG group stipends. (However, the RFP and instructions stated including it in the NON-Construction Budget is not necessary, as match is not necessary). However, we are committed to providing such support.
