In North Dakota, primary Lifeline call and text coverage for all of the state's 53 counties is served by a single Member crisis center, FirstLink. This funding would build capacity- to address several key gaps in service preparation for the launch of 988 in July 2022. 1) Additional staffing to answer the increase in projected call volume; 2) Integration of Vibrant's unified chat platform as well as staff and training; 3) Capacity building for follow-up services to open services for all contacts regardless of screened lethality.
