At the state level, a major infrastructure development during this past year was the creation of the NH MTSS-B Technical Assistance Center website and toolkit, a joint effort of the Office of Social and Emotional Wellness and the Behavioral Health Improvement Institute (BHII). The website has allowed for broader communications across the state about MTSS-B, access to resources and tools for the implementation of MTSS-B, and a streamlined request process for technical assistance. We have received positive praise on the toolkit and the team has been able to present the work and the website at several presentations both in state and nationally. We plan to continue expanding our system-level work with the ongoing support of targeted technical assistance for stakeholders implementing and engaging in MTSS-B. This includes a virtual monthly meeting of a Community of Practice (CoP). The Office of Social and Emotional Wellness and the BHII will also establish an ongoing training and technical assistance series to improve and expand the knowledge possessed by New Hampshire's cadre of internal and external MTSS-B coaches. At the LEA level, the increased fidelity to MTSS-B implementation has progressed significantly. With the establishment of District Community Leadership Teams (DCLTs) in Year 1, LEAs were poised to deepen their support of school-level implementation in Year 2. Some districts had to take a step back due to staff changes but were able to rebuild their teams. LEA Project Managers have been planning and facilitating school Tier 1 and Tier 2/3 teams at MTSS-B demonstration schools, some districts have expanded to additional schools. These teams have undertaken a needs assessment data review, action planning, and progress monitoring of behavioral health strategies selected by the teams. These teams have allowed for MTSS-B core features to be operationalized to serve students. In addition, LEAs have developed and revised school and district policies to support the sustainability of their system development work. These policies include topics such as discipline, family engagement, suicide prevention, bully prevention, and overall wellness policies. Many Project Managers were able to share the data with their school boards to increase their knowledge and AWAREness of the connection of MTSS-B work.
