Expanding Access to Community-Based Mental Health Services - Resilience Resource Center (RRC) will implement a 12-month community-based behavioral health expansion serving adolescents, adults, and older adults in Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties, Pennsylvania, with telehealth available to residents of Bucks County and elsewhere in Pennsylvania when clinically appropriate. The project will provide 3,000 hours of affordable, evidence-informed services to at least 75 unduplicated participants facing financial, insurance, transportation, social isolation, or other barriers to outpatient care. Services will include individual counseling and therapy, clinician-led therapeutic support groups, peer-led skill-building workshops, and a senior community wellness program addressing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, adjustment concerns, stress, life transitions, and social isolation. Participants may enter through lower-barrier workshops, groups, wellness activities, or counseling and be connected to the level of support that matches their needs. RRC will offer an initial appointment or referral within 10 business days for at least 80% of participants when feasible, measure outcomes using tools such as the PHQ-9, GAD-7, Brief Resilience Scale, or loneliness measures, and complete a sustainability plan. The project seeks to improve well-being, resilience, and coping skills; reduce barriers to timely care; and strengthen RRC’s clinical and administrative infrastructure.
