Contact Phone Number: 405-945-8606 (Telephone) E-Mail Address:corie.kaiser@okstate.edu Website Address:http://www.healthsciences.okstate.edu/ruralhealth/index.cfm Blog Address:http://osururalhealth.blogspot.com/ital Improvement Program (SHIP) is to help small, rural hospitals in the State of Oklahoma allocate funding to be spent in one or more of the following categories: The purpose of the Oklahoma Office of Rural Health's (OORH) Small Rural Hosp 1.Value-Based Purchasing Investment Activities Quality reporting data collection/related training or software; Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems(HCAHPS) data collection process/related training and/or software; -Efficiency training; -Provider-Based Clinic (RHC) quality measures education; and -Alternative Payment Model and Quality Payment Program training and education. 2.Accountable Care Organizations/Shared Savings Investment Activities -Computerized provider order entry implementation and/or training; -Pharmacy services training, hardware/software, and machines; -Population health or disease registry training and/or software/hardware upgrades; -Social determinants of health (SDOH) screening software/training; -Efficiency or quality improvement training or software; -Systems performance training; -Telehealth and mobile health hardware/software; -Community paramedicine hardware/software and training; and -Health Information Technology (HIT) training for value and ACOs. 3.Payment Bundling or Prospective Payment Systems Investment Activities -ICD-10 Software and/or training; -Efficiency or quality improvement training in support of PB or PPS initiatives; -S-10 Cost report training; and -Pricing transparency training. Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program (Grant # H3HRH00039) Oklahoma Office of Rural Health It is the Oklahoma Office of Rural Health's goal to administer the SHIP program in a timely and effective manner that is responsive to the needs of Oklahoma's small, rural hospitals. There are 51 hospitals that are participating in the SHIP program for FY23.
