Annette Island Service Unit (AISU) Diabetes Program - The Annette Island Service Unit (AISU) Diabetes Program project will address key audit elements through updated programming that facilitates a comprehensive all-of-the-above approach aimed at making measurable impacts on diabetes through diabetes education, physical activities, and nutrition. This will be achieved by investing in proper staffing, making the repairs needed to reopen the Lepquinum Wellness Center and Pool, and partnering with the Boys & Girls Club, Annette Island School District, and the community garden. AISU Diabetes staffing will coordinate with partners to carry out and track activities and individual results.
