Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. provides diabetic care services to their Native Communities to help manage blood sugar levels and improve clinical health outcomes. Services that SIHC provides include blood sugar screenings, nutrition education, insulin and medication management, and outreach for those with pre-diabetes to prevent or delay diabetes diagnoses. Our clinic also works closely with our partners, both internally and externally, to provide additional resources to improve quality of care and decrease diabetes related complications. We continue our SDPI best practice of eye exams to reduce the prevalence of diabetic retinopathy. Our team works closely to improve diabetes related outcomes among our population.
