The 2023 Project Plan for the Irene Benn Health Center, in Moapa NV is to bring critical diabetes prevention and management resources, tools, and equipment to a rural AI/AN community with limited resources. The efforts will focus on engaging our community into care, and empowering individuals and families to make healthy changes to their daily lives to improve their overall health. The healthcare team is committed to improving the outcomes of our community through many avenues that will include occasional community outreach, collaborations with our local tribal leaders, and ongoing assessment and improvement projects in the clinic.
