FACTS Infertility Training Center - FIT Center - FACTS About Fertility, Inc. will establish and operate a national Infertility Training Center to help Title X clinics strengthen infertility education, evaluation, treatment support, and referral services. The project will serve Title X-funded organizations, their service sites, medical professionals, and the patients they serve across the United States, with a particular focus on low-income and medically underserved populations. The Infertility Training Center will provide training and technical assistance focused on diagnosing and treating the root causes of infertility in both women and men, including conditions such as endometriosis, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), thyroid disorders, metabolic conditions, recurrent pregnancy loss, and male-factor infertility. The project will increase access to body literacy education and fertility awareness-based methods that help patients and clinicians better understand reproductive and hormonal health and identify potential concerns earlier. Using a tiered model of universal, selected, and individualized training and technical assistance, FACTS will offer webinars, online courses, continuing education opportunities, conferences, implementation coaching, clinical tools, patient education resources, and site-specific support. The project will help participating clinics strengthen clinical workflows, improve infertility-related counseling, expand evaluation and treatment support, and develop referral pathways to qualified infertility specialists and related healthcare professionals. Resources will be available through a dedicated website, online learning platform, and searchable knowledge hub designed to support ongoing access to evidence-informed tools and guidance. Key project activities include conducting needs assessments, developing and disseminating educational resources, training healthcare professionals, supporting Champion Clinics through advanced education and implementation assistance, strengthening referral networks, and providing continuous quality improvement support. Over the project period, FACTS expects to deliver more than 100 prerecorded webinars, more than 100 live presentations, multiple in-person trainings, certification and cohort-based training programs, clinical tools and patient education resources, and opportunities for residency and fellowship engagement. The project is expected to increase clinician knowledge, confidence, and skills related to infertility prevention, identification, evaluation, treatment support, and referral practices. It will strengthen organizational capacity within Title X settings, improve access to patient-centered infertility information and services, enhance referral relationships, and increase the availability of high-quality infertility care for underserved populations. Ultimately, the project will improve access to comprehensive infertility-related services, support healthier reproductive outcomes, and strengthen national capacity to deliver evidence-based fertility planning and infertility care through the Title X network.
