This funding will cover the data migration project which securely transfers over 20 plus years of data from existing legacy systems to new and specialized MIS platforms to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and compliance with federal reporting requirements. The transition will improve patient care by providing accurate, accessible data and ensuring seamless service delivery. The project aims to ensure accurate data migration without loss, maintain security and compliance with regulations, transition data for the initial system implementation of the CBH program within 12 months, align stakeholders through continuous communication, and facilitate a seamless transition to the new MIS system with minimal disruption. The new systems will integrate advanced security measures, including HIPAA-compliant encryption, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access. Regular security audits and training will strengthen resilience against cyber-threats. Transparent consent protocols will uphold tribal sovereignty and patient autonomy. This migration will streamline workflows, enhance data-sharing capabilities, and meet Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) reporting requirements. The IT infrastructure will support long-term sustainability with customizable dashboards for real-time data tracking. The project aims to complete data migration for the CBH programs, and concurrently work on the migration for Health Plan and AGD. This investment ensures secure, efficient healthcare operations, strengthening both internal management and patient services. This MIS project, upon culmination, will serve three programs: Center for Behavioral Health, Health Plan, and Advocacy and Guardianship. CBH offers culturally sensitive mental health services, crisis intervention, and psychiatric care. HP ensures quality medical and dental care, claim management, and patient referrals. AGD supports at-risk children and incapacitated tribal members through case management and advocacy. The Tribe’s proven experience in large-scale projects ensures successful implementation, with staff training and Service Level Agreements enhancing efficiency, compliance, and patient care.
