CHWC’s service area includes Litchfield County, Connecticut, which is located in the northwest part of the state, a rural area facing substantial health disparities. In order to enhance the infrastructure and improve patient services, CHWC proposes a Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending (CPF/CDS) Equipment-only project to fund necessary clinical and non-clinical equipment for CHWC’s new 7,400 square foot facility located in North Canaan, CT, an area with limited access to health care services. The proposed equipment includes clinical equipment for the provision of primary and preventive health care services as well as behavioral health services.
