Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - This single project will create a stand-alone 2-story structure—new health clinic for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP) located in southwest Michigan, Calhoun County, Emmett Township. This new build will increase the square footage by 21,845 sf providing medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, fitness, and business office/support spaces. NHBP has spent two (2) years completing pre-construction related work including: business plan, site selection, feasibility study, cost estimation, and Tribal community outreach. The culturally appropriate services will be provided to an estimated 3,000 – 4,500 patients per year to a critical Battle Creek service area.
