Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - The Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) will construct a new, three-level, 51,000-square foot, standalone, substance use treatment facility, known as the “ACCESS Recovery Center.” The Center, once complete (September 2026), will provide wraparound services with adults, children, and families, regardless of their insurance or lack thereof or their ability to pay, including inpatient detoxification, short-term residential care for those with a substance use disorder, crisis stabilization, outpatient individual and group therapy, prevention services, outreach and motivation to treatment, and supportive social services. Once operational, the Dearborn-based Center will operate 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, offer linguistically and culturally responsive care, and employ an estimated 130 new and existing clinical and paraprofessional staff.
