Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - The scope of this project is to purchase movable equipment to outfit a newly renovated health center located in Greenbelt, Maryland. CCI-Ora Glen is a comprehensive expansion of CCI Health Services' footprint in Maryland through the acquisition of a new 47,838 square-foot facility in the city of Greenbelt, located in Prince George's County, Maryland. Key components of the new health center include establishing the county's first Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program, launching a community-centered pharmacy, and expanding the pediatric dental practice. Additionally, the project aims to enhance existing health programs including prenatal care and behavioral health services. This initiative will create jobs, support local economic growth, improve healthcare access, and provide culturally competent care by hiring from within the community. The overall goal is to improve individual and community health outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and promote health equity.
