Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - Title of Project: Preparing for the Construction of a New Primary Care Facility in Greenville, MS The City of Greenville, in collaboration with Delta Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the Mississippi, will utilize congressionally appropriated funding for site preparation activities which will lead to the construction of a new 30,000 sq. ft. healthcare facility at 1601 Colorado Street, in Greenville, MS. Once constructed, the facility will be used to offer primary health care including family medicine, pediatrics, OBGYN, dental care, behavioral health, physical therapy, and a 340B pharmacy. This initial funding will primarily cover site work costs including excavation, storm drainage, curb and gutter, sidewalks, fencing as well as site survey, soil investigation and foundation recommendations. Funds will also be used for architectural and engineering costs including structural, civil, mechanical/plumbing and electrical engineering, interior designing, and landscape architectural services. Additional funds for the construction costs of the building will be secured by Delta Health Center from other federal and non-federal sources.
