Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending - Construction - The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022 allocated $1,882,000 in Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) funding to Nevada State College for facilities and equipment. In alignment with the Appropriations Act, the Wellness Center project encompasses the design and construction of a stand-alone structure on the Nevada State College campus to expand health and wellness services for students at NSC. This building will house student wellness services, including mental health services, the campus case manager, and a food pantry. The total cost of the project is $1,882,000, to be spent over a three-year period. The proposed building will encompass roughly 1,930 square feet and will be built on property owned by Nevada State College.
