Greater New Bedford Community Health Center (GNBCHC) proposes to enhance its main entrance through an alteration/renovation (A/R) of an existing facility project that will include equipment costs. More specifically, GNBCHC will: • Enclose approximately 3,000 square feet of parking lot space at the current lower level entrance to create a central registration and new main entrance; • Overhaul the current elevator in order to gain third floor access to an additional patient service area; • furnish and equip the central registration space It is worth mentioning that the combined A/R upgrade will augment access to the third floor in order to provide additional behavioral health counseling rooms.
