PROJECT ABSTRACT Affordable Care Act (ACA) ??? Consumer Assistance Program Grants The Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) will use Consumer Assistance Program Grant funds to build on existing consumer assistance activities, including upgrading information technology, facilitating more sophisticated data analysis, increasing consumer education and outreach, and expand the scope of consumer issues that the program can address. The primary goal of this effort is to assist and educate consumers with regard to a wide range of health insurance coverage issues. Key components of Wisconsin???s Consumer Assistance Program proposal: ??? Upgrade and enhance data systems, including consumer inquiry, complaint, and referral tracking systems, web-based intake forms, and data reporting and analysis systems.
