Fiscal Year 2023 Capital Assistance for Hurricane Response and Recovery Efforts (CARE) - Affinity Health Center (AHC) proposes construction/expansion, without equipment purchases, utilizing CARE funding at the existing AHC Rock Hill Main Site. The project proposes adding 3,192 additional square feet of clinical and staff space. This addition will enlarge each of the facility’s clinical pods by adding 12 exam rooms, two additional care team work areas adjacent to the new exam rooms, and two additional procedure/flex space rooms. Signage will be updated to allow for self-directed patient flow. The expansion will increase the overall capacity of the facility to respond to and/or recover from future emergencies and/or disasters that will support continuity of essential services as well as expanded access to high quality primary care services, including expanded capacity for behavioral health services, for underserved populations.
