Fiscal Year 2023 Capital Assistance for Hurricane Response and Recovery Efforts (CARE) - The MedNorth Health Center properties are comprised of 925, 921 and 915 N. Fourth St. (Property) in Wilmington, N.C. The current operation consists of one existing building (built in 1997) of approximately 16, 213 s.f., adjacent paved parking spaces, a dry storm water treatment basin, vacant land at the corner of Bladen St. and 3rd St. and two unimproved lots. The (Project) purpose is to expand the operation by approximately 31,000 square feet on the (Property) in the most optimal manner possible without adversely compromising the operations of the current facility. This will increase access to care as we have totally run out of space to add additional clinical providers. We have 112 employees and have been using closets for office space. Some employees have to work remotely because of our lack of office space. We have also had to rent office space to house non patient facing staff. Expanding our building is crucial to our operations, increasing access and staff retention.
