NAVIGATE Reproductive Center of Excellence - The NAVIGATE Reproductive Center of Excellence (Network for Assessment, Validation, Innovation, Guidance, Access, Treatment and Evaluation) will establish a national Center of Excellence dedicated to improving reproductive health outcomes through evidence-informed restorative reproductive medicine (RRM). The Center will focus on infertility and miscarriage by identifying, evaluating, and treating their underlying causes, including polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), endometriosis, uterine fibroids, male-factor infertility, endocrine disorders, and other reproductive health conditions. This project directly addresses persistent gaps in reproductive healthcare, including delayed diagnosis, fragmented care delivery, limited access to root-cause treatment approaches, insufficient workforce training, and lack of standardized clinical pathways. Led by the Office of Cooperative Reproductive Health and Natural Infertility Clinical Services at the University of Utah, in partnership with Reply Ob/Gyn & Fertility and the Women’s Reproductive Health Foundation, the Center will serve patients nationwide through a combination of telehealth services, clinical partnerships, workforce development, patient navigation, quality improvement initiatives, and dissemination of best practices. The Center's multidisciplinary model integrates clinicians, care navigators, fertility educators, health coaches, nurses, and public health professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered reproductive healthcare. The project has five primary objectives: (1) expand access to comprehensive restorative reproductive medicine services for infertility and miscarriage throughout the United States; (2) develop and disseminate standardized, evidence-informed clinical practice recommendations and care pathways; (3) create and implement scalable workforce training programs for clinicians and allied health professionals; (4) refine and distribute interoperable electronic health record templates and clinical tools compatible with national reproductive health registries; and (5) develop and evaluate quality-improvement resources that support continuous enhancement of reproductive healthcare delivery. Key project activities will include development and implementation of standardized clinical pathways, provider training programs, patient navigation services, fertility education resources, electronic health record tools, and quality-improvement systems. An interdisciplinary Advisory Board representing clinical, public health, educational, and reproductive health organizations will guide implementation, evaluation, and dissemination activities. Evaluation will utilize electronic health record data, provider assessments, patient-reported outcomes, quality-improvement metrics, and data from the Surveillance of Treatment Outcomes in Restorative Reproductive Medicine (STORRM) registry. Outcomes will include expansion of access to care, increased numbers of trained providers, adoption of standardized care pathways, patient satisfaction, reduced diagnostic delays, and improved reproductive health outcomes. A comprehensive dissemination strategy will support national scaling through webinars, technical assistance, professional partnerships, conference presentations, online educational resources, implementation toolkits, and peer-reviewed publications. Sustainability will be achieved through integration of Center-developed resources into clinical operations, continuing education programs, healthcare organizations, and academic institutions. By creating a national infrastructure for root-cause reproductive healthcare, workforce development, quality improvement, and dissemination of evidence-informed practices, the NAVIGATE Reproductive Center of Excellence will improve access to timely diagnosis and treatment, strengthen reproductive healthcare capacity, and create lasting systems-level improvements in reproductive health services across the United States.
