Blanket Fort Hope Restoration Home Launch and Stabilization Project - Blanket Fort Hope will use this 24-month project to launch, stabilize, and sustain the Restoration Home, a licensed long-term residential home in Columbiana, Alabama, for girls ages 12 through 18 who have experienced human trafficking, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, or related severe trauma. The home will serve up to nine girls at a time and provide a safe, family-style setting where residents may remain for months or years based on individual needs rather than a fixed program timeline. Project activities will include 24-hour supervision; individualized safety and treatment planning; counseling by licensed clinical staff and contracted licensed counselors; coordination of medical, dental, and behavioral health care; education and tutoring support; life-skills and financial literacy instruction; healthy relationship development; recreation; and transition planning. Blanket Fort Hope will also recruit, train, supervise, and support residential staff to promote continuity of care and reduce burnout and turnover. Partnerships with child welfare, healthcare, schools, law enforcement, courts, and community organizations will strengthen referrals, safety, and access to specialized services. The organization will track admissions, occupancy, treatment-plan completion, service access, resident safety, school participation, individualized progress, staff retention, and compliance. Expected deliverables include stable 24-hour operations, phased admissions toward the nine-bed licensed capacity, individualized treatment plans within 30 days of admission, documented access to comprehensive services, monthly performance reviews, quarterly continuous-improvement reviews, and a sustainability plan. Expected outcomes include greater access to safe long-term residential care, improved resident safety and stability, stronger educational and life-skills progress, reduced risk of re-victimization or return to unsafe settings, consistent relationships with trained caregivers, and increased readiness for healthy adulthood and long-term self-sufficiency.
