Esther's Home a long-term therapeutic safe home for minor girls who have been commercially sexually exploited - Delivering Comprehensive Therapeutic Residential Care Through Esther's Home Project Purpose: Esther's Home is licensed, operational, and ready to serve. This proposal seeks to ensure that girls who have endured sex-trafficking receive the consistent, comprehensive, therapeutic care necessary to move from exploitation to long-term healing, stability, and hope. This project aims to address the urgent need for expanding access to safe, high-quality, trauma-informed, long-term residential care for girls who are victims of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and/or abuse. The initiative will support the ongoing operations of a residential program that provides a safe, welcoming, supportive environment and comprehensive multidisciplinary services to promote healing, recovery, and long-term self-sufficiency for survivors. These services will be supplemented through growing community partnerships. This will increase prevention by reducing risks of re-victimization through strong therapeutic care, healthy exit plans, and consistent follow up through after-care. Key Activities: • Operate a safe, structured residential facility offering long-term housing averaging 18-24 months, as needed for recovery. • Deliver trauma-informed, therapeutic care that addresses the physical, psychological, emotional, social, and educational needs of residents. • Provide access to licensed counselors, case managers, and multidisciplinary professionals. • Maintain adequate staffing levels and implement strategies to ensure staff stability and continuity of care. • Develop individualized service plans for each resident, including health, mental health, educational, vocational support and a healthy exit plan with follow up. • Coordinate with community partners such as healthcare providers, behavioral health organizations, law enforcement, and educational institutions to ensure comprehensive service delivery. • Implement policies and procedures to ensure resident safety, privacy, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Expected Deliverables and Outcomes: • Increased access to safe, high-quality residential placements for minor female victims of sexual exploitation and abuse. • Improved resident safety, stability, and quality of life. • Enhanced long-term recovery, self-sufficiency, and prevention of re-victimization. • Strengthened partnerships and service coordination among community organizations. • Collection and reporting of performance data to demonstrate project effectiveness and inform continuous improvement. Intended Beneficiaries: The primary beneficiaries are minor girls in the United States who are victims of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and/or abuse requiring long-term, trauma-informed residential care.
