A Greater Love Foster Family Agency is a private non-profit corporation, with the purpose to provide a safe, loving and supported environment, supervision, and wellbeing of children 0 to 17 years old placed with the Agency and to provide them with the kind of ongoing therapeutic services and skills training which will meet their problems and needs that is culturally relevant, trauma informed, and age and developmentally appropriate. Nationally accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). A Greater Love Foster Family Agency is proposing to extend these services to unaccompanied children (UC) who have no legal immigration status in the United States of America (USA), are ages 0 to 17 and have no parent or legal guardian in the USA. The Transitional Foster Care (TCF) for UC program will provide comprehensive access to and timely services for UC 0 to 17 years of age, pregnant and/or parenting youth, and UC with special needs. A Greater Love Foster Family Agency has a total of 45 beds. These services include, but may not be limited to, residency in a safe and supportive home environment, culturally appropriate food, age-appropriate clothing, initial onsite covid test, full scope medical exams and services, full-scope mental health assessments and services, developmentally appropriate onsite education programming, a variety of recreational opportunities, and sponsorship-related services.
