JCCA is excited to submit a proposal to continue providing Unaccompanied Children (UC) with Long Term Foster Care (LTFC). JCCA currently provides 30 beds, in foster homes located in the Bronx and New York County, New York. JCCA has used its experience and expertise to respond to the special circumstances of the UC, adapting our programs and services to support the federal oversight for welfare and reunification or placement of these youth. JCCA has 200 years of child welfare experience, and has been an industry leader in developing specialized program models for youth in foster care. JCCA's programs, which combine a robust clinical oversight component with committed and well-trained workers, meet the diverse array of children served by the New York City child welfare system. By providing both case management and specialized medical and behavioral health interventions, JCCA's foster home programs ensure the physical and emotional well-being of youth. JCCA is able to offer a full range of services, including safe and loving foster homes, intake and full assessment of all needs, case management, medical and mental health services, activities and education support, transportation, assistance with legal and immigration services, and family reunification in collaboration with ORR.
