Improving Access to a Supply of Quality Care in the District of Columbia in the Aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic - This award funds a research partnership between the Urban Institute and the District of Columbia (DC) Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agency to add to our knowledge about the efficacy of child care subsidy policies. The FY22 DC Partnership is studying the implementation and outcomes of DC’s wage enhancement program for early childhood educators as well as new parents’ experiences finding child care for their infants. The project is generating research evidence to inform programmatic efforts in DC and to advance the field nationwide.
