Tennessee's Wilson Fish Bridge to Employment Project will provide coordinated employment, English language, career development, and supportive services to RCA recipients and other ORR eligible clients - The Tennessee Office for Refugees' (TOR) Wilson Fish Bridget to Employment (WF B2E) program will ensure that employable Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) recipients and other ORR-eligible individuals receive required employment services, job readiness, job placement and retention; career planning and occupational training; employer connections; and, as appropriate, English-language services to promote sustained economic self-sufficiency. Eligible individuals across Tennessee need consistent access to coordinated services, including in suburban, rural, remote, emerging, and underserved communities. TOR’s regional and specialized subrecipients will address this need statewide. World Relief Memphis (WRM) and Bethany Christian Services (BCS) will serve West Tennessee; Inspiritus and the Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE) will serve Middle Tennessee; and Bridge Refugee Services will serve East and Southeast Tennessee through its Knoxville (BRK) and Chattanooga (BRC) offices. The Tennessee Language Center (TLC) will provide employment-focused English services across regional boundaries. Together, these providers will cover all 95 counties, using coordinated referrals and flexible delivery methods to address geographic, transportation, scheduling, language, and other barriers. TOR will provide statewide leadership and oversight through standardized policies, referral and data systems, training and technical assistance, quality assurance, performance management, and programmatic and fiscal monitoring. TOR will use performance data to assess service quality, identify gaps, guide corrective action, and support continuous improvement. WF B2E will help participants obtain and retain employment, increase earnings, develop skills, earn credentials, advance in their careers, strengthen household stability, and reduce dependence on public assistance. These activities and outcomes directly advance WF-B2E objectives and ACF’s priority of Promoting Work and Self-Sufficiency.
