Massachusetts No Wrong Door Project - Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging and Independence (AGE), in partnership with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EHS) and MassAbility, the state agency serving adults with disabilities, is seeking an Enhancing State No Wrong Door (NWD) Systems for Efficient Access to Long-Term Services and Supports grant from the Administration for Community Living (ACL). The grant will enable Massachusetts to achieve the goal of enhancing and sustaining a NWD network in Massachusetts, serving people of all ages and levels of ability, supported by a Single-Entry Point (SEP), shared consumer database, seamless referral and warm transfer across health and human service agencies throughout the state. Massachusetts will complete this goal through achievement of the following objectives: • Convene a state-level, multi-agency advisory board to oversee the strengthening of the Massachusetts NWD network and inform the development of a cross-agency interface of consumer database systems. • Pilot an interface between MassOptions’ SalesForce database and the aging service network’s Aging and Disability database system. • Develop a road map for a cross-agency interface among MassOptions and the aging and disability network. Achievement of these objectives will generate the following outcomes: 1) An improved NWD system that is guided by state leaders across the aging and disability continuum; 2) a replicable system for enhanced seamless referral; 3) a detailed plan for a system for seamless referral across aging and disability service networks; and 4) an efficient and effective referral system supported by an SEP.
