Enhancing the User Experience, Governance, and Sustainability of No Wrong Door Virginia - The Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services proposes to enhance the user experience, governance, and sustainability of No Wrong Door (NWD) Virginia by achieving the following goals and objectives. Goal 1 - Enhance the NWD Virginia user experience when interacting with information and referral systems and associated supports. This goal involves three objectives: 1) integrate systemwide usage data to inform NWD initiative evaluation, enhancements, and improvements; 2) make enhancements to NWD technology to improve the experience of users at Area Agencies on Aging and other providers; and 3) enhance the functionality of VEA to target new providers and improve the consumer experience. Goal 2 - Strengthen NWD statewide leadership capacity to fulfill duties and expectations as an active governing body facilitating and creating opportunities for data-driven sustainability supporting the value add of the information and referral systems. This goal includes two objectives: 1) work to expand the membership of the NWD Virginia Resource Advisory Council (RAC) and long-term services and supports partner network and 2) leverage available data sources and establish new data collection processes to demonstrate initiative successes and build a case for sustaining NWD Virginia. Feedback will be obtained from users and partners to determine whether tools, training, and resources are providing the intended benefit. The number of users, partners, views, visits, searches, and referrals across technology tools and platforms will be tracked to establish a baseline and measure system growth. Products will include a revised RAC charter, multi-year action plan for council engagement, and an annual report providing an overview of data, metrics, achievements, and lessons learned.
