The expected outcome from the Allakaket Self-Governance Project is the establishment of operating procedures that guide the Tribal council with management of contracts and grants in an effective and efficient manner; development of a viable accounting system to attract, acquire, and manage funding in an efficient and effective manner; through development of the Overall Community Development Plan and Community Development Department within the Tribal Council Administration concerns of the community will be known in detail to guide further planning and there will be documentation to provide for advocacy; through training received on management of contracts the Tribal Council will improve and continue establishing the Tribal Council's capability to manage contracts and develop programming.
