Gateway to Success - - Unity Family Community Center (UFCC) will implement the program in Alachua, Dixie, Levy, and Marion Counties, Florida, serving youth ages 10 to 19. Program is designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to make healthy decisions and successfully transition into adulthood. The program utilizes the evidence-based Real Essentials curriculum to educate youth on healthy relationships, pregnancy prevention, goal setting, and future planning. In addition, participants receive instruction in financial literacy, career readiness, and personal development to strengthen their ability to achieve long-term success. Youth will learn to identify characteristics of healthy relationships, establish personal goals, and apply evidence-based strategies that support positive outcomes. The program will serve 1,000 youth annually and will pursue the following objectives: 1. Healthy Decision-Making and Future Planning: At least 80% of participants will demonstrate increased knowledge and skills related to healthy decision-making, relationship building, and future planning, as measured through pre- and post assessments and participant surveys. 2. Parent and Family Engagement: At least 75% of participating parents or caregivers will demonstrate increased knowledge related to family economic stability, educational involvement, and strategies to support their children's success, as measured through pre- and post-assessments and parent surveys. 3. Community Capacity Building: Increase collaboration among schools, community-based organizations, faith-based partners, and local stakeholders to strengthen community capacity and improve access to services that support positive youth development and successful transitions to adulthood. Through these efforts, Gateway to Success will empower youth and families with the tools, resources, and relationships needed to build healthy, productive, and successful futures.
