The Coquille Indian Tribe's Diabetes Program will use the SDPI 2023-2027 funding to hire a Registered Dietitian to provide Diabetes Education to those diagnosed with Diabetes, implement the SDPI Diabetes Prevention Program in the Coquille Indian Tribe Community, weight management and healthy eating classes and deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in the medical clinic as indicated. In addition, the RDN will lead the Coquille Indian Tribe's Diabetes to assure that treatment aligns with the Diabetes Standards of Care.
