Goal of the project is to develop a culturally appropriate, innovative curriculum that promotes healthy marriages and supports youth in order to strengthen the extended family and community relationships for American Indian children, youth and families living away from traditional support systems. The project will be implemented and will include curriculum development and community healing activities. The project will include key stakeholders in the Indian community through formation of a Project Advisory Council comprised of couples, community elders and professionals, who will provide technical assistance, advice, direction and support for the project on a quartelry basis to assist inguiding and evaluating all project components. Keepong the Circle Whole will address the needs of Indian families through the development of three program components (Promoting Healthy Marriage and Supporting Youth).
