During PY2, FHI 360 will build on its previous work to develop an SI system to implement comprehensive activities. FHI 360 will continue to partner with the government of the DRC and other organizations at HZ and provincial levels to improve SI systems, using tools such as DQI and the Data Verification and Improvement Tool (DVIT) to provide accurate, timely data to improve program planning. At the HZ level, training and TA will focus on proper use of national paper and electronic M&E systems and tools as Tier.Net, DHIS 2 and a patient-level data repository. FHI 360 will continue to train data clerks at HZs and provide computers for data management at the targeted Haut-Katanga, Kinshasa and Lualaba provinces, as needed.
Based on FHI 360 experience in DQI activities, all CDC HZs and some USAID HZs will test and implement DQI changes to identify best practices and processes that lead to complete, timely and accurate data that are used to improve the systems of care for patients with HIV.
